1555 Public Market

A jewel of regional architecture, the 1555 Public Market, located in the heart of downtown Saint-Hyacinthe and established in 1830, opens its doors every day! It is the oldest market in Quebec and the only one to have retained its agri-food vocation! A true gourmet destination, this market invites you to meet merchants and seasonal producers who set up booths under the marquise. There is also the Expression contemporary art exhibition centre on the second floor of the market. A visit there is the promise of an experience full of flavours and culture, imbued with the history of the place.

Jardin Daniel A. Séguin

The Jardin Daniel A. Séguin is a magnificent floral park with an educational, cultural and tourist vocation covering an area of 4.5 hectares. It has 21 themed gardens, which show a great diversity and maturity of plants. It also serves as a learning garden for the Institut de technologie agroalimentaire du Québec in Saint-Hyacinthe and is known for having the largest collection of annuals in Quebec.

From July 25 to August 3, discover the splendour of the agricultural world! The Expo will entertain you for 10 days with a program that will delight both kids and adults. This county fair will present a multitude of agricultural activities as well as fun things to do for families and several shows to attend. On top of everything, there will also be more than 1,000 animals, rides, agricultural-themed activities and games, animal competitions, a rodeo, a demolition derby, horse driving competition, tractor pulling, equine demonstrations and many new features!
