Located west of the Island of Montreal, in Montérégie, Verger Labonté offers a people-focussed experience in the heart of nature. Their eco-responsible and educational approach makes for a very interesting visit. Apple-pickers of all ages will have the chance to participate in 5 outdoor puzzles that require logic and take you through the woods and a cornfield. A little bit of an added challenge on top of carrying your bags of apples to the car! At the shop on site, pick up some delicious apple muffins, which on their own are worth the detour.

A perfect day out for fans of cider!

Cidrerie Milton in the Eastern Townships is home to a beautiful shop, a bistro with a dining room, a cider bar and an orchard. After picking apples, children can see the animals at the mini-farm in the orchard. On site, you can enjoy delicious fresh pies or buy some to take home. Be sure to taste the ciders made there as well, which demonstrate finesse and creativity. A few tables are set up outside where you can sit and sip your drink while admiring the magnificent view of the countryside and Mont Yamaska. An ideal orchard for a gourmet picnic!

For simple apple-picking in the country!

Surrounded by a wooded area, Verger Belpom has an atmosphere that will delight anyone looking for a quiet place to get together. Visitors choose this orchard for the rural, bare-bones back-to-basics experience it offers. At the edge of the orchard is a view of the Bécancour River which runs across the Centre-du-Québec region. Small carts, equipped with a 30 lb. wooden box, make picking along the walk much easier. With such a large quantity, you’ll want to make sure to bring your own bags or boxes to carry home your bounty. Among their 8 varieties of apples, the Royal Cortland is a favourite delicious fruit to eat or its own or for cooking.
