This summer, the McCord Stewart Museum hosts two fashion photography exhibitions. Norman Parkinson: Always in Style celebrates the inventiveness of the British photographer who dazzled the world, from the 1930s to the 1980s, by changing the static approach to fashion photography.

Portraits and Fashion – Quebec Photographers Beyond Borders brings together prints by 17 photographers who are shining a spotlight on Quebec talent on the international stage. This original exhibition showcases a hundred unprecedented iconic portraits from Celine Dion to Winnie Harlow to Xavier Dolan.

Also on view, Presence of the Past, an exhibition by kanien’kehá:ka artist MC Snow and Indigenous Voices of Today: Knowledge, Trauma, Resilience, a must-see exhibition for a meaningful connection with Indigenous peoples in Quebec.
