Discover the unique Quebec tradition of fishing for small channel fish. Every winter, as soon as temperatures are cold enough, an actual village sets up on the ice-covered banks of the Sainte-Anne River, where thousands of visitors practise ice fishing in comfortable heated, furnished cottages. And you don’t have to be an expert to get a bite, because even kids can do it! The Tomcod Fishing Festival also offers a wide range of outdoor activities for all ages, including live music, skating rinks and slides. An event not to be missed, happening from February 3 to 18, 2024.
