Located in Plessisville, the sector of the Forêt ancienne (old forest) in the Grandes-Coulées Regional Park is the perfect playground for the whole family. Walk along the charming 10 km of trails following the magnificent Black River, and enjoy activities accessible to all: hiking (low steepness), trout fishing, plant and wildlife interpretation and cycling. In the L’Érable region, a bike ride means heading out to explore more than 50 km lined with mountains, plains, lakes and historic roads. Bike paths on roads range from 21 to 73 km, some appeal to lovers of wide open spaces and others for fans of spectacular scenery. On a ride near the Appalachian foothills, you’ll see one of the most imposing wind farms in Quebec!
