For one of the most rewarding museum experiences in the National Capital Region, don’t miss the Canadian Museum of History. Located on the shores of the Ottawa River, the Museum — one of Canada’s most popular — celebrates the diverse histories, stories and cultures of Indigenous Peoples while also exploring the compelling personal stories that have shaped Canada, from earliest times to the present day. This winter, experience Iceberg, an outdoor installation that consists of a series of illuminated metal arches that each make a particular sound. Arranged to form a tunnel, the arches beckon you to enter and listen to — and even play — the giant organ. A thought-provoking, immersive, and playful piece about climate change.
